Flight schedules change from time to time, so we recommend that you collect all of this information from airline websites.The approximate distance of 1300 kilometers from mainland India to the islands can be covered in a non-stop flight within a maximum of 2.5 hours. However, currently, there are no evening flights available. The first flight of the day arrives at Port Blair around 7 AM and the last flight leaves around 3 PM.
The Veer Savarkar International Airport (IXZ) in Port Blair is the sole commercial airport in the Andaman Islands. Air travel is the most practical and hassle-free method to go to this faraway place, thus we highly advise it.
